Sam is running for City Council because Portland deserves a leader with a proven track record of bringing people together, getting tough stuff done, and leading the city through difficult times like we are seeing today.

You know Sam as someone who not only shares our progressive values but can deliver results in service of a holistic agenda. Sam is ready to take on our city’s toughest challenges and:

• Lead the city though difficult times
• Address houselessness and the lack of affordable housing in a more effective and equitable way.
• Reduce gridlock and make our transportation system safer for drivers, bikers, and pedestrians.
• Adequately support neighborhood businesses and small employers to create more, local, and good-paying jobs.
• Restore cuts to parks programs and community centers that our seniors and families rely on.

Sam is inviting you to a neighborhood virtual meeting to hear your concerns, provide updates and to plan for how to take Portland forward.
